ITB-Science is a psychometric subject-specific test for assessing aptitude to study in the field of natural science, technology, engineering and mathematics. ITB-Science consists of four modules, each comprising 15 exercises, which have proven successful in predicting academic success:
- Quantitative Problems
- Figural Problems
- Analysing Texts
- Graphs and Tables
Duration: 2 hours, 60 exercises
Test languages: English and German
Implementation: Online on campus, online-proctored at home or paper-based on campus.

Figural problems
consists of matrices that test reasoning in the figurative domain and general cognitive skills.
Analysing Texts
measures text comprehension using subject-related texts from the field of study.
Graphs and tables
measures competence in understanding illustrations and diagrams on various topics in the field of study.
