The most important information at a glance

Registration for the test procedures is only possible online.

The participation in the test is subject to a fee.

The tests are held several days a year (mainly Saturdays). You may take each test only once a calendar year.

For admission you need a valid official photo ID and the invitation to the test. Note paper and pens will be provided for you in the test centre. (For security reasons, the use of your own pens and note paper is not permitted.)

The tests take approximately 3.5 to 4.5 hours (depending on the test) – including registration, admission, instruction. The tests are taken twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Prepare yourself well for the test day. Work through the sample tasks and familiarise yourself with the demo version of the computer-based test system. Find out in good time how to get to the test centre.

Deception and attempted fraud are not allowed – nor are certain items.

Please follow the instructions of the test administrator carefully. These instructions, together with the written instructions provided with the test, are authoritative.

During the time specified for a particular task group, you may only navigate within that task group.

When in doubt, you should guess! Because no points are deducted for wrong answers.

Forbidden Behaviour

The most important prerequisite is that all participants have comparable conditions when taking the test. Therefore it must be ensured that, among other things, all participants adhere to the same rules, and that nobody gains advantages at the expense of others. Thus, each of you can contribute to ensuring that a test is fair.
