A selection procedure designed to meet your own needs

Does your university or degree programme set special requirements for students? Do your scholarship holders need to have certain abilities and qualities in order to be successful, and do they need to have values that are in line with your scholarship programme? Do you have a large number of applicants? Do you want to have an aptitude test or a selection process that allows you to identify the best applicants?

We support you to solve these or similar situations. We develop selection process tailored for your demands and support you in its implementation and evaluation. Designing and developing selection instruments (e.g. tests) it is important to make it apparent to the participants why, this question or exercise is being asked during the selection process (= content validity). We conduct evaluations to check validity and fairness. In addition, we cooperate with a scientific advisory board of renowned scientists and pay great attention to data protection.

We have accompanied the selection process of Bucerius Law School since its foundation in 2000. The two-stage process consists of a written part with a field-specific aptitude test and discussion and a subsequent oral part with interviews, thesis presentation and group task.
In coordination with the psychological service of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (German Federal Employment Agency), we have developed counselling tests for 7 fields of study that are used as part of career counselling for students.

Deltaprüfung

The Deltaprüfung follows the concept of a general aptitude test. Passing the Deltaprüfung allows prospective students with a subject-limited higher education entrance qualification to study a wider range of education programmes.
Since 1996, the Austrian university has been using tests from ITB to select students for almost 30 degree programmes on several test days.
For more than 20 years, Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences in Dornbirn has used tests from ITB to select students for various degree programmes.
We have developed a self-assessment for the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts that can be taken by all applicants to the Master's programme in Applied Information and Data Science as part of the application process.
For the Karl Landsteiner Private University for Health Sciences we develop a selection process conducted in English and tailored for the demands of field of study of Medicine & Health Sciences.

Landarztquote

As part of the selection process for applicants for the Saarland's "Landarztquote", we have developed a fully structured interview for the Saarland's State Office for Social Affairs and train annually the judges.
We have developed a field-specific study aptitude test for the selection process of the Saxony-Anhalt`s Landarztquote. The test consists of three modules: study aptitude, motivation & interest and personality.
The admission test at Leuphana University of Lüneburg is a general aptitude test that is integrated into the selection process of most of the degree programmes offered at Leuphana.
We support the innovative model degree programme in human medicine MEDiC at the Carl Gustav Carus Medical Faculty of TU Dresden in the selection of students for the Chemnitz Medical Campus. To this end, we are developing so-called Multiple Mini Interviews.
Since 2008, we have been entrusted with the implementation, evaluation and development of the selection process for the "Aufstiegsstipendium". In a three-stage process, approximately 1,000 scholarship holders are selected annually in two rounds from around 3,500 applicants.
The START-Stiftung awards scholarships to highly committed students with a migration background. We advise and support the foundation throughout the entire multi-stage selection process.
Since 2010, we have been entrusted with the development, implementation and evaluation of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes selection test for self-applicants. The test is conducted as an online test under supervision in test centres throughout Germany.
For the University of St. Gallen, we develop the admission test for foreign applicants, accompany the selection day and evaluate the test on the test day. The admission test is a field-specific aptitude test for economics.
Together with the University of Tübingen, we have developed online self-assessments for prospective students for six degree programmes.
We support the world-renowned Otto Beisheim School of Management in the selection of students. The procedure used is regularly adapted to new requirements and conditions.
For the Swiss university, we have created a field-specific study aptitude test from the subject areas of natural and social sciences for the selection of students.
Kassenärzliche Vereinigung of Saxony-Anhalt
We support the Kassenzahnärztliche Vereinigung of Saxony-Anhalt in the selection of students who receive scholarships to study dentistry. We provide a two-stage selection process.
For the selection process of the Landarztquote Sachsen, we have developed a structured, interview-based procedure with Multiple Mini Interviews.
